Memory Usage
Short Term Memory.

Memory usage how much of our brains do we actually use?

To answer this question we need to know what the human brains memory usage is, and how the brain function(s).

The human brain usage can be described as a massive multi functioning organic mega computer. This mega computer has a seamlessly infinitive amount of terabytes (brain usage - long term memory). It also has a rewrite-able memory, known as (brain function -short term memory). The brain also as a third memory usage type (action memory).

How does our brain know weather to store in short term memory, or long term memory?

Memory Usage
Long Term Memory.

This is mainly decided by our feelings. To explain this better look at the examples below.

(1) First time you rode a bike? (Most people remember the first time they rode a bike, this we attribute to excitement of achievement) So this is long term memory usage.

(2) Seventh time you rode a bike? (No body remembers. This is because, after the first time, it becomes normal). So this is short term memory.

(3) The day a loved one dies, this is stored in long term memory because of the feeling of grief.

(4) Where you left the cello-tape, keys, pen etc... We are always forgetting where we have placed objects such as keys. Although car and house keys are important, where we put them down is never exciting nor grieves. This is why organised people have a place for everything. So they don't have to remember.

Repetition and brain function- things we do repeatedly such as work, study or cook etc.. But that which we have no strong feelings for. Such memories are stored in what I call, the actions memory. These memories are rewrite-able. Meaning if we stop using these action memories, they will be rewrote. But the more we use these action memories, the easier that action becomes.

So how much of our brains do we use?

Brain Usage

For a normal activity such as watching a film, we use only a tiny amount of the potential of the brain.

In fact, if we live a full life from being born, to dying of old age. We will still only use a fraction of the potential of our brains.

So why are we giving brains with massive usage potential, but only ever use a fraction of that potential?

The truth is nobody really knows. All we can do is theorise, give suggestions for what the reasons might be. What do you think?

What is the purpose for the rest of our brains?

So why are we giving brains with massive usage potential, but only ever use a fraction of that potential?

Some professionals believe that we use in total 10%, others say 20%, and some believe we use as much brain usage as 33%. So the burning question as got to be.

What happens to the other 66%?

One group of people explain brain usage rather brilliantly.

Brain Usage Under The Veil

Although this is rather a religious theory, which calls for the belief in spirits and God. It also is the best theory that explains in full the use of the brain.

They believe that we where alive in a different sense, before we came to be born on Earth this planet.

This group of people also believe that we where spiritual beings, that existed under the tutelage of God.

That we where given this mega organic brain, with an infinite capacity. Because our sole purpose is to become like our creator, to be all knowing.

They say that to be all knowing, we have to experience all emotions and temptations. Which means leaving our spiritual home and being born a physical human being. They say that God in his wisdom, knew that for us to grow and mature properly. That a veil was to be placed over our minds, when we where born.

The purpose of the veil was to stop us remembering our spiritual life and knowledge already accumulated before Earth. We don't know what technologies, information or answers are hidden under this veil. But if we already have all the answers, when we are born. Then what purpose would this serve us, to progress.

Also they say by having this veil placed over our memory, we have a chance to believe in God without knowing for sure. Where without the veil we would know that God existed, and would be scared. This would take our freedom of choice away from us.

This theory as massive plusses, and helps explain so many small and unanswered questions:

* De jau vu is when we feel like we are repeating something over. But we know we have not.
* People who meet there future partners, and know that they are the ones.
* People who are born with a massive talent (or a God given talent ).

These are just a few questions that this theory answers. Maybe you can think of some more.
